Sujata received her training in Hindustani Classical from Mrs. Meera Majumdar, Devi Ranjan Banerjee, Dhirendra Chandra Mitra.She has received many prestigious awards namely the Humlog award, Suvidha award, etc for her contribution to Bollywood stage as a singer. Recently, she received the prestigious NBC Art scape award for outstanding performance as Bollywood playback singer.
