Junior’s Fashion Week delivered the first kids fashion show to the City of Joy. Junior’s Fashion Week has opened doors to a lot of opportunities for the kids who aspire be a kid model. The event showcased the Spring Summer’17 Collection of reputed brands like U. S. Polo Assn., Biba Girls, Max Fashions and Manyavar. Airtel were the associating sponsors of the event.
U.S. Polo Assn. SS’17 collection is “Classic American Styling” and features traditional, preppy, and updated looks. Their positioning, imagery and experience as a premium brand is reflected in the contemporary elegance, great tradition and a jovial attitude the collection offers at the right prices. The junior models brought the true essence of the brand alive on the runway.
A pool of 148 junior models of age group four to fifteen years, displayed their modeling aptitude on the runway of the most sought after kid’s fashion event of the country. The models pool was choreographed by the talented model turned choreographer, Jessica Gomes Surana. She says, “ Fashion and Education have always been my passion, and there could have been no greater joy than combining both, that is, educating children on fashion and teaching them how to become little fashion icons. Junior’s Fashion Week is a great platform for kids to get a taste of the best of the fashion world available for kids.”
Present on the occasion were the cast of the upcoming Bengali movie Posto, Arghya & Adeetri, who graced the collection of Max Fashions on the runway. The collection of the participating brands filled the runway with vibrancy and liveliness by their exclusive designs and creativity. Mr. Siddhartha Bindra, MD Biba Apparels, said, “We are extremely excited to showcase our Biba Girls Summer 17 collection at the Junior’s Fashion Week. It’s always a pleasure to see the young girls in our garments and look forward to a great response from the show.”
The finale of Junior’s Fashion Week was a balanced showcase of traditional and contemporary collection. While U. S. Polo Assn. and Max fashions displayed the ultra – modern elegant collection, Biba Girls and Manyavar presented the ever-loving ethnic fusion wear on the ramp. Commenting on the occasion, Shilpi Modi, Director, Manyavar said, “We are happy with our association with Junior’s Fashion Week. The creative and youthful nature of this show is a good platform to showcase our Kids Ethnic Wear Collection. We are positive that the children wearing our classic yet trendy designs will win hearts and create further interest in people’s minds for Indian Celebration Wear.”
A plethora of activities kept the event abuzz with excitement and rewards. Airtel hosted a set of activities and gave out prizes for the same. A creative wall by Airtel, dedicated to the attendees for freely expressing themselves was one of the highlight of the event.
